Raquel Leviss admitted she lacked “empathy” for Katie Maloney and her mom Teri last season, and she revealed her reaction to Lala Kent’s voicemail from the season 11 premiere of Vanderpump Rules.
In the voicemail, Lala seemed to wave a white flag. She hoped to speak to Raquel in person, and she apparently felt bad over how Raquel was treated in the aftermath of her affair with Tom Sandoval.
“I have reflected … and I regret a lot of how I behaved towards Katie,” said Raquel on her Rachel Goes Rogue podcast, via tasteofreality.com. “I realize now that she was going through her own heartbreak and her own pain and going through a divorce is not something that anybody wants to go through and seeing your act with somebody else is devastating and so I played part of being the offender, and I think to me it didn’t seem real.”
“I lacked empathy for the position I was putting her in in the emotions that were coming up for her and I really regret a lot of how I behaved in those situations,” she explained.
On the same podcast, Raquel said she listened to Lala’s voicemail, which was filmed last year.
“Immediately I just felt like I didn’t trust Lala and her intentions but as I’m watching this season and this episode, immediately I was like, ‘oh she did it on camera,'” said Raquel in a clip shared by @bravosnarkside on Instagram. “‘That makes a lot of sense.'”
Vanderpump Rules season 11 airs Tuedsays at 8/7c on Bravo.
