Raiders Fans Outraged Over Antonio Pierce’s Latest Controversial Statement: A Wave of Intense Reactions from the Community - suong

The Las Vegas Raiders have had a season to forget in 2024. They currently have a 4-12 record with one game left to play. Despite the bad record, the team had some hope just a couple of weeks ago after having the number one pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, after winning back-to-back games in their last two games, the Raiders are now picking eighth.

Head coach Antonio Pierce recently made a statement on his mindset going forward, and fans are not happy about it.

"Just trying to stay in the present," Pierce said. "Can't live in the past, can't worry about the future."

The Raider Nation was not happy about this statement and thinks that the team's top priority going into the offseason is planning for the future.

One fan said, "A person that doesn't learn from the past, doesn't have a vision for the future, and will equal a bad head coach!" Pierce's job has been in question for most of the season because of the team's struggles, and it seems like the majority of Raiders fans do not want him back in 2025.

Another fan wants Pierce gone because of the struggles all season long, and the fact that these last two wins have likely ruined Las Vegas' chances of drafting a quarterback. "Hope the Raiders part ways with Antonio Pierce after the season. He F***d our season with 10 straight losses and again with two meaningless wins to kill our draft position."

"You don’t worry for the future, you plan for it. AP ain’t it," added another.

While it is still possible for the Raiders to draft a quarterback, they will likely have to trade up to get one, which could mean losing some key players currently on the roster.

It seems like Pierce could be on his way out of a job in Las Vegas after his first year as a permanent head coach.
