The Fudas are officially a family of six!

On Wednesday, Feb. 19, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star Rachel Fuda, 33, gave birth to her first baby boy, son Lorenzo Antonio Fuda.

Baby Lorenzo, who was born at Valley Hospital in Paramus, NJ, joins the three children Rachel shares with husband John Fuda: daughters Gianella Jolie, 4, and Giuliana Rose, 2, as well as Jaiden — John’s 18-year-old son from a previous relationship, whom Rachel adopted.

PEOPLE can exclusively reveal news of the baby's arrival, as well as the first photos of the tiny tot.

"With the birth of our last baby, our family has grown into everything we ever dreamed — a beautiful circle of six hearts, bound by love, laughter, and the journey we’ve shared. This little soul is our final piece, the sweetest ending to a chapter of beginnings, and the start of a lifetime of cherished moments together," Rachel tells PEOPLE.

“Our hearts are fuller, our home is brighter — our baby boy is here, and I am so grateful to be a mother again.”

Lorenzo, whose moniker can translate to "from the town of bay trees," also shares a special tie to his grandparents. His middle name, Antonio, is in honor of Rachel's late grandmother Anna Del Vescovo as well as John's grandma Ida Fuda, who worshipped St. Anthony, the couple tells PEOPLE.

He was also born on the same day as John's grandfather Joseph Fuda, the founder of Fuda Tile and the patriarch of the Fuda family.

Rachel first shared the news that she was pregnant in an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE published on Aug. 11.

"We're so excited," she said at the time, noting that she and John "always felt like our family wasn't complete" and that they both were "ready to be a party of six."

"We actually have a table in my kitchen and when we sit down for dinner, there's one empty chair. And we always kind of looked at each other like, 'Oh, it'd be nice to fill that seat,' " Rachel shared. "So we always had the room for one more in our home and in our hearts, and we're both just so happy to be welcoming another baby into the family. It felt like it was time."

The Fuda family — John, Jaiden, Rachel, Gianella and Giuliana — poses together to announce their happy news.

The couple started to make their dreams a reality after cameras went down on season 14. "I just feel like, four kids, that's a good number," she said. "The time [was] now."

Once again, they used in vitro fertilization (IVF), the same process they used to conceive Gianella and Giuliana. They had had five embryos still viable for transfer.

It wasn't easy. "There's so many things that have to go right when you're going through IVF, and this time around, there were a lot of roadblocks for us," Rachel said, explaining that she struggled to get her cycle and lining "on point" at first so her body could accept the transfer. "It took a couple months of us working with my doctor to figure out when this could actually happen for us."

Eventually, she got the go-ahead and the transfer took. "I thought, 'This is my last shot. If this doesn't work, we're done,' " she recalled. "But we were so blessed it all worked out."

Rachel Fuda's baby shower

On Sunday, Jan. 5, she celebrated her baby-to-be at a baby shower attended by her RHONJ costars Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Danielle Cabral and Jenn Fessler.

It was especially important to Rachel. The event was her first baby shower ever because Gianella and Giuliana were born during the COVID-19 pandemic, which made in-person get-togethers like baby showers impossible.

"My first baby shower with my last baby!" she told PEOPLE exclusively about the occasion. "It was a day I will remember forever and memories I will cherish for a lifetime. John went above and beyond to make sure this was a really special day, and he delivered. It was amazing!"

And now that her baby boy is here, Rachel can focus on the thing that's meant the most to her: motherhood.

"There's truly no better feeling in the world than having kids," she told PEOPLE in August. "It's almost a type of love that you just can't explain. Like, these little people make me a better person. They teach me every day. I've learned to slow down and just enjoy the small moments in life, like cuddling on the couch and reading a book together. And it keeps me grounded because they remind me of what actually matters. They are my peace in this world amid the craziness."

"I feel like my true purpose in life is being a mom," Rachel said. "It fulfills me more than I ever thought possible. And I can't wait to do it again. I mean, what's better than to bring life into the world? How lucky am I?"
