“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star’s youngest daughter, Portia Umansky, celebrated her 17th birthday on March 1.
The teen received birthday wishes from family and friends on her special day, including a sweet message from her famous mom. Richards posted throwback photos of Portia to Instagram with the caption, “Happy Birthday to my baby. I love you so much @portiaumansky.”
Hans also reacted, some with disbelief as they recalled first being introduced to Portia when she was a toddler during the first season of RHOBH.

On March 1, Portia’s eldest Farrah Aldjufrie shared a birthday post for her sibling. In a series of photos, the sisters posed together while in Aspen, Colorado, where their family owns a vacation home. A final photo showed Portia as a toddler holding a mini Louis Vuitton bag.
“Happy 17th Birthday my angel @portia_umansky 🎈🎈🎈,” Farrah captioned the post. “ You are the smartest, wittiest, most stunning and wise beyond your years. I love you SO MUCH ❤️”
Fans reacted to offer well wishes to the teen, with some of them admitting they had to do a double take.
“17!!! Wait ! No there’s a mistake! 17!!!! I see her at 2 as a baby and now 17!” one fan wrote on Instagram. “I feel really old now 😘.”
“The fact that I watched this baby grow up on tv, and she’s 17. Happy Birthday Portia 🎈🎉🎁🎂,” another wrote.
“Omg 17?!?! 😭” another fan wrote in disbelief.
Middle sister Alexia Umansky also posted a tribute to Portia on her Instagram story.
In one clip, Portia and two of her sisters were with their dad, Mauricio Umansky, in Aspen. Richards did not appear to be in the video. “Always makes me laugh so hard and urges us to take in every moment,” Alexia wrote of her younger sister.
“Happy birthday to my twin who just happened to be born just a couple (12) years later, but we’re actually twins,” Alexia captioned a separate still photo of her and Portia.
Fans Have Watched Portia Grow Up on RHOBH
Portia was a toddler when her mom first starred on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” in 2010. In a scene from a 2012 episode, the then-4-year-old invited her mom’s former co-star Lisa Vanderpump to her birthday party. Portia referred to Vanderpump as “dahling” during an adorable telephone scene.
When she turned 10, Portia had a “Kidchella” themed birthday bash. “Since she has older sisters, she wanted more of a non-traditional, mature theme, and loved the idea of incorporating Coachella,” Richards told People magazine at the time.
For her sweet 16th birthday in 2024, Portia was given a Porsche by her parents, and that scene was shown on RHOBH season 14.
In a 2024 interview with The Daily Dish, Richards talked about how her youngest child has grown up on TV. “When we started the show, she was in a crib and diapers. Now, she drives and is applying to colleges,” Richards said of Portia. “It’s just so wild to think that this much of my life has been covered all these years, and she has no memory of any life before the show.”
