Paul “PK” Kemsley is getting real about his status with Dorit Kemsley.
While attending the grand opening of NYC’s Planet Hollywood, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband shut down rumors regarding his and Dorit’s ongoing separation. PK insisted the months-long split was "very real," contrary to claims that he and Dorit were “faking” their marital issues to create a TV storyline.
PK gives an update on his and Dorit's coparenting relationship
“The show’s on, so it’s very real to us. It was filmed 10 months ago,” he told The Daily Mail, referring to RHOBH Season 14, which explores the drama surrounding his estranged marriage. “Listen, it is what it is… Things are not entirely as I’d like them presented. But we made the [bed], so we’re in it, aren’t we?”
PK said he and Dorit are now focused on raising their two children: 9-year-old daughter, Phoenix Kemsley, and 11-year-old son, Jagger Kemsley.
“There’s nothing to update. We’re navigating co-parenting,” he continued. “I’m with [Phoenix and Jagger] every weekend. They’re with me. We celebrated the birthdays together in the last few weeks. The kids are good.”
Dorit gets candid about PK's role as a father
Dorit addressed her coparenting experience in RHOBH Season 14, Episode 10, saying PK wasn’t as present as she would like him to be.
“There are times that I think PK’s the greatest father in the world. But is he the most hands-on father? The truth is, no,” she said in a confessional. “He would disappear and be gone for weeks and weeks without even calling the kids. I worked overtime to put in their heads that their father was trying to call, wanted to see them, missed them so much. I’ve protected him at all costs no matter what, and I don’t think he realizes that.”
Dorit expanded on the subject on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show.
“Do I think he’s a good father? Yes, I do. Truly,” she said. “He’s not the most hands on father, but… there are many different ways to be a good father. I feel very lucky that my kids have PK as their father.”

In his interview with The Daily Mail, PK revealed where he currently stands with Dorit’s on-again, off-again friend Kyle Richards. PK’s bond with Kyle became the subject of Season 14 drama, after Kyle confirmed she was still communicating with PK amid his marital split. Dorit wasn't exactly thrilled with the situation and accused her fellow Housewife of breaking “girl code.” After a few heated exchanges, Kyle promised Dorit she would no longer text PK.
But despite the tensions surrounding his friendship with Kyle, PK insisted he had plenty of love for the Housewife and her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky.
“They’re both dear friends of mine,” he said. They’re navigating their stuff, we’re navigating ours. Mauricio’s my brother and Kyle’s like my sister. Yeah, I love them.”
