Kyle Richards is speaking out after being accused of a “photoshop fail.”
After the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 54, posted an image of herself and Hermès executive Michael Coste that featured a large smudge over one of her arms and was called out by fans who said things like, “The filter gone wrong,” Kyle said it was actually her friend who attempted to edit the pic.
“Kyle this is photoshopped … [what the hell]?” one person asked in the comments section of Kyle’s since-deleted Instagram photo.
“God bless the person who edited this picture has left smudges on her top and arms,” added another.
And a third said, “Just be you. Stop this ridiculous photoshop madness!”
Following the sharing of the pic, which also ended up on Kyle’s Facebook page, Kyle returned to Instagram, where she shared a clear version of the image on her Story.
“Always love seeing you and laughing together [Michael Coste],” Kyle captioned the August 29 pic, also including a couple of kissing-face emojis, via Page Six.
Amid the photoshop drama, Kyle came across an image of the mishap on Instagram and didn’t hesitate to explain herself — and add some criticism of those discussing the mistake.
“Uh oh, Kyle Richards has been called out for an epic Photoshop fail,” Page Six had written in the caption of an Instagram Reel shared on August 29.
In a comment, Kyle replied, “This picture was sent to me by Michael and I didn’t look before I posted it. He admittedly does this to all of his photos. This isn’t [newsworthy]. Pretty sure people are as bored by this as I am.”
As RHOBH fans well know, Kyle is currently in the midst of marital drama with husband Mauricio Umansky, 53, who she reportedly separated from earlier this year amid rumors of a romance between her and country singer Morgan Wade, 28.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year.
