Phaedra Parks wants to let her past rest in peace as she gets a fresh start on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Grab a shovel: Now that Phaedra Parks has officially reclaimed her peach on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16, she’s ready to dig into all the juicy new drama — and leave the rest behind.
Naturally, that's the theme behind Phaedra's new RHOA tagline, which arrives in the opening credits for Episode 13, set to air on Sunday, June 1.
"I returned from the dead. Now, let's bury the past for good," the queen of one-liners says in her signature Southern belle style, subtly referencing her career as a mortician.
Phaedra Parks reflects on her RHOA journey
Upon making her RHOA comeback on Episode 12, Phaedra gleefully announced, "I'm back where I belong. Baby, I am home." Having previously appeared on Seasons 3 through 9, she had a few things to unpack first, before diving back in with a fresh start, though.
"Unfortunately, the last time you saw me wasn't my best moment," she admitted, referencing the circumstances surrounding her 2017 departure. "I regret how I left the group, but he who is without fault cast the first stone."
Much has changed since viewers first met Phaedra in 2010, as she reminded them during the episode's walk down memory lane. A retrospective of the past decade-plus illustrated how she's become a mom to two sons — Ayden, who's now 14, and Dylan, 11 — with her now ex-husband Apollo Nida, and experienced plenty ups and downs in her shifting friendships.
"When I started this journey, I could have never imagined where I would end up," Phaedra shared. "Life has thrown me many curveballs. But I rose above it and never let it dim my light. Everything was good until I played with fire."
