Phaedra Parks' ex-husband Apollo Nida was reportedly arrested for assault after his wife Sherien Almufti allegedly accused him of putting his hands on her during a domestic dispute in March.
According to In Touch, a site that has claimed to have seen the court papers, Nida was charged with domestic violence and simple assault.
Following Apollo's alleged arrest, he was reportedly taken to a local jail, where he posted a $3,000 bond and was released within hours.
In March, Almufti reportedly called the police on her husband, telling law enforcement that she had come home from a bar when an argument about infidelity broke out between them, the site claimed.
The 50-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta star Parks and Nida, 45, finalized their divorce in 2017 after tying the knot in 2009.
Almufti reportedly said Nida presented a video of her kissing another man, then 'pulled her by the hair' and 'pushed' her 'against a refrigerator.'
She ran outside to seek help and when she returned to retrieve her phone, Apollo had left the scene, the site added.
Police viewed surveillance video of the confrontation, but it did not show a physical altercation, the site claimed.
The mother-of-one, who has a daughter from a prior relationship, declined medical attention.
The report also noted that she did not have any visible marks or bruises from the alleged interaction.
Nida later spoke with police and admitted that he tried to take his wife's phone from her during the argument, according to InTouch.
He explained that when he tried to get the mobile device, she 'turned into a ball' on the ground in an effort to keep the phone, but he retrieved it from her, it was also alleged.
Nida reportedly confirmed that Almufti went outside for help, but said he followed her to give back the phone.
It comes one month after Nida reportedly was charged with a single misdemeanor count of simple battery.
A hearing followed, with court records not revealing whether or not he entered a plea or hired an attorney.
According to In Touch, the court document stated, 'I, Keith E. Gammage, Solicitor General for the County of Fulton, State of Georgia, in the name and on behalf of the citizens of Georgia do hereby charge and accuse APOLLO EDWARD NIDA with the offense of SIMPLE BATTERY – FAMILY VIOLENCE, a misdemeanor, for that said accused in the County of Fulton, State of Georgia, on or about March 11, 2024 did intentionally make physical contact of an insulting and provoking nature with the person of Sherien Copes, who is the present spouse of accused, by pulling her by the hair and pushing her.'
Almufti later told the publication the incident 'was a huge blow out between a married couple that has brought us much closer since then. We have worked through our issues and have been going to couples therapy.'
Parks is reportedly 'negotiating her return' to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which is in production on its 16th season.
LoveBScott.com reported earlier this month that Phaedra was not able to iron out the details of her contract before Bravo cameras began rolling at Cynthia Bailey's event at Lake Bailey.
The day of the soiree, Phaedra posted a BTS snap of herself via Instagram getting her makeup done.
It was captioned: 'I stay ready, so I never have to get ready.'
