Phaedra opens up on the Ellen Show about her ex-husband Apollo Nina reunited with after he was released from prison and had to return to prison.

In an emotional interview on The Ellen Show, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks shared her heartfelt thoughts about her ex-husband, Apollo Nina, and his difficult journey after being released from prison.

Phaedra recounted the moment she first saw Apollo after he was released from prison. It was an emotional and complicated reunion, as although the couple had divorced, their feelings for each other were still strong, especially since they had two sons together. Apollo, who had been convicted of financial fraud, spent years behind bars. Despite his time free, he was unfortunately caught up in the law again.

Phaedra couldn't hide her emotions when she shared how she felt when she learned Apollo was going back to prison. "It was a big shock to me and the kids," she said. “Even though we’re no longer married, I always wanted him to have a better life after what he went through. I can’t imagine him having to go through this again.”

Phaedra emphasized that, despite Apollo’s flaws and mistakes, he is still the father of her children, and that’s what keeps them on an unbreakable bond. She also talked about having to explain their father’s situation to her two sons, which was one of the hardest things she’s ever had to do. “I had to figure out a way to make them understand without hurting them,” Phaedra shared. “They still love their dad, and I have to respect that.”
