Peter Madrigal Promised “A Lot Of Drama” From The New Cast Of Vanderpump Rules

Peter Madrigal knows the new cast of Vanderpump Rules “pretty well” and promises “a lot of drama” at SUR in the upcoming season.

In an interview with People, SUR‘s manager teased season 12’s group of SURvers and what they will bring to the table.

The VPR 2.0 Crew:

“I know the new cast,” began Peter. “Yeah, I know them pretty well.”

“There’s a lot of drama going on at the restaurant … there always is. So, it’s going to be insane. It’s going to be a little bit intense. Absolutely.”

Currently, Lisa Vanderpump is the only returning cast member confirmed to return to Pump Rules. In December, she said she had already chosen the servers, hosts, and bartenders who would make up the new cast. The selections came after Bravo announced on Nov. 26 that it had scrapped the old cast.

LVP told Entertainment Tonight, “I have an existing group,” of staff members. “But, there’s always room for people because it’s West Hollywood. It’s always people coming through the door, ‘Can I have a job?’”

When asked if Peter was interested in returning to the show, his response was an enthusiastic yes. “Yeah, yeah. Yes. Yeah, all of the above.” In fact, the restaurant manager claimed on The Domenick Nati Show that he would be the only original cast member returning for the reboot besides LVP.

“The one that’s still there is yours truly,” boldly declared Peter.

Peter isn’t afraid to get messy in and out of SUR:

Never forget that Rachel Leviss [then, Raquel] went on a “date” with Peter while she was hiding her affair with Tom Sandoval. Then, the former beauty pageant contestant had the gall to call Peter a “starter pony.”

Peter wasn’t having it. “Who the hell are you to call me a starter pony,” he questioned before stating, “You’re a home wrecker.”

He also included a warning to Tom’s paramour. “Raquel, watch out because, in nine years, Sandoval is probably gonna leave you for someone else.”

Nine years ended up being less than 9 months, but point taken, Peter.

FYI, SUR’s official Instagram page has been teasing a new cast of VPR since June:

It’s All Happening for what appears to be the new Vanderpump Rules cast! The official Instagram page for SUR Restaurant and Lounge featured a photo of nine very attractive servers paired with a very telling, yet cryptic, caption.

“Coming together is the beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success. – SURvers ❤️.”

Pictured are Kim Suarez, Demyana Selem, Venus, McKenna, Ljubisa Djekic, Gabrielle Cagan Steele, Lou Zapata, Nandi Sharma, and a bartender who goes by @vodka_cranchelli_. 

Not pictured is Israel Isaac. For the last year (from my experience), Israel has been the face and is the future (imho) of Vanderpump Rules.

Also, Israel hosts all of SUR‘s biggest parties, Halloween/NYE/etc, so if the show is going to be a true representation of SUR, it would only make sense for Israel to be a foundation for the show moving forward … but, like Tamra Judge, that’s my opinion.
