During the Rangers recent practice, defenseman Calvin de Haan briefly spoke with the media regarding the end of the season he's spent with the Rangers.
After, de Haan was scratched for 18 games, he was vocal about his frustration with how he was being mistreatment in New York.
It's a reasonable concern for a journeyman in the NHL who has played for multiple teams during his career.
However, things got ugly following the team's practice, as de Haan took to social media and voiced how he truly felt about being mistreated by the New York Rangers organization.
Something that quickly caught the attention of head coach Peter Laviolette, which resulted in him to add to the controversy.

Before the New York Rangers game on Monday night against the Florida Panthers, Peter Laviolette faced the media and shared his side of the story.
While doing so he stated that he understands where the frustration is coming from and that he wants players to be upset about not playing.
Along with revealing that he and de Haan had a conversation regarding his comments:
"Yep, I did. I've had conversations with him the whole time. I get it, we had a good chat yesterday. He's frustrated he's not playing. All players want to play."
Certainly something that isn't a good look for the New York Rangers locker room, hopefully this is something that will be fixed over the offseason.
