Pete Wicks risks his chance at Strictly success as it's revealed he will skip training to be a 'flower girl' at best friend Vicky Pattison's lavish Italian wedding

Vicky Pattison revealed that she has given Pete Wicks the unique task of being her 'flower girl' at her lavish Italian wedding this Wednesday, which means the TOWIE star will be forced to miss crucial hours in the Strictly training room.

During Tuesday's instalment of Lorraine, Vicky appeared as a guest to discuss her upcoming nuptials, her struggles with PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder), and Pete's important role at her wedding.

The former Geordie Shore star, 36, hilariously revealed that Pete, also 36, will 'embrace his role as flower girl' as he prepares to jet to Italy in the middle of his busy Strictly schedule.

She told Lorraine Kelly: 'Pete is embracing his role of flower girl. He’s going to arrive tonight and I have no doubt going to show us some fantastic moves as he walks down that aisle.'

She added: 'When we found out he had the Strictly gig we'd already planned him coming to the wedding so he's flying in and out very fast.'Vicky Pattison revealed that she has given Pete Wicks the unique task of being her 'flower girl' at her lavish Italian wedding this Wednesday

'He’s a really good friend so this has been conflicting for him.'

During Saturday's first live show, Pete performed a sultry Paso Doble routine with his professional dance partner Jowita Przystal, 30.

However, he looked gutted as the judges dished out a score of just 17, with Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke both showing their five paddles.

Vicky and Ercan Ramadan tied the knot officially in Marylebone in August, surrounded by their loved ones.

Now, they're ready to celebrate their union in style with a grand wedding in Puglia, all of which will be captured for E4's new series, Vicky Pattison: My Big Fat Geordie Wedding.

While discussing getting married again, Vicky explained to Lorraine that she now feels like a 'seasoned pro' and is 'less nervous' this time around.

She joked: 'I feel like I’m a seasoned pro now, I'm definitely less nervous.'

'A wedding planner has taken away a lot of the stress and pressure.'

She then went on to compare her wedding to a 'zoo' as she claimed she wouldn't recommend having 160 people in your home.

She said: 'It was lovely any bride can attest that the process is stressful and is it a rollercoaster but it was worth it on the day.'She told Lorraine: 'Pete is embracing his role of flower girl. 'I will say, 160 people in your house, cannot recommend. It was a zoo.'

She added: 'People are going to annoy you, your guests are going to annoy you. You have to accept that.'

'They’re gonna miss flights or do what's best for them. Let go of the expectations that its gonna go smoothly in that sense. Do what makes you happy.'

Elsewhere on the daytime programme, Vicky looked emotional as she discussed her struggles with PMDD.

Revealing that she often feels anger and anxiety, Vicky said: 'You feel anger, anxiety, depression, fatigue.'

'It’s very debilitating. I do not know how my fella puts up with me sometimes.'

'I’m a huge advocate for speaking your truth and making women feel less alone who are going through these things.'

She added: 'As chance would have it the luteal phase (where it’s at its worst) has fallen the week before both of my weddings. It has been a little bit spicy.'

Revealing that she hopes PMDD will not win this time, Vicky said: 'Marrying the love of my life again and surrounded by my friends and family, I do feel overwhelmingly happy I hope in this situation PMDD will not win.'Vicky and Ercan Ramadan tied the knot officially in Marylebone in August, surrounded by their loved ones, before heading to their home in Essex for their lavish wedding reception

The lavish event in Puglia will be packed with celebrities, including TOWIE's Ferne McCann and Mario Falcone, and even Bake Off's Candice Brown among the 120 guests.

Vicky expressed her excitement about filming their journey for E4 by telling The Mirror: 'Can you imagine showing our kids the video? We'll be like, "Look at your mum there! Isn't your dad smart?"'

She continued: 'It felt natural to want to share this really happy thing with everybody who's been following my career and following our relationship.'

'Plus, weddings are expensive and every penny counts towards it so this was a no-brainer!'

Meanwhile, her husband Ercan claimed filming the show has been 'so fun' and they're going to have it 'with us forever'.

Postnuptial bliss isn't the only thing on the couple's mind as Vicky revealed she's keen on starting a family with Ercan after their Italian wedding.

Discussing their future plans, Vicky who previously spoke about freezing eggs, claimed they have made embryos as she will be turning 37 soon and 'wanted to take the pressure off somewhat' but hopes that children will be in their future.

Claiming they want to get another year's worth of working and travelling in, Ercan revealed that in a year and a half's time, they will start trying.
