Peek Into Kathryn Dennis' Morning Routine: Unveiling the Essence of Her 'Good Morning' - lulu

Kathryn Dennis reminded fans that the best things in life are often free.

On Friday, January 10, the Southern Charm alum began her day by admiring the beautiful sunrise in Charleston — so beautiful, in fact, that she couldn’t help but share the view with her followers. Kathryn posted a photo of tall tree silhouettes against a blue and orange sky that reflected off a body of water.  

“The kind of morning that makes you stop and breath it all in,” she captioned the Story, which included a “Good Morning” coffee gif.

Kathryn shared the photo nearly two years after she exited Southern Charm. The Charleston native, who appeared in the series’ first eight seasons, announced her decision in a statement to People at the time, saying she was grateful for the experience.

“What a wild ride it’s been! Can you believe I was 21 when I first started filming Southern Charm, back in its first season?” she said. “That was in 2013, and in the decade that followed, it’s safe to say my life changed in ways I could never imagine. 

“It hasn’t always been easy, but I’m so lucky to have had reality cameras there, capturing so many moments that I’ll never forget (and a few, even, that I’d like to),” she continued. “Y’all watched me grow up, become a mom to two amazing children, and build friendships I’ll always treasure. And through it all, the love y’all have shown for me not only gave me the strength I needed to tackle it all, but helped me realize that I wasn’t alone. I’m so grateful.”

Since then, Kathryn has kept a relatively low profile as she continues to raise her children — daughter Kensington and son Saint — as a single mom. Back in May, Kathryn shared a rare glimpse into her family life by posting photos and videos of her son’s flag football game.

“When your kiddo nails a touchdown and busts out the Madden victory dance,” she captioned the post, which showed her now-9-year-old boy posing with his trophy. “Proud mom with my little champ and his biggest fans.”

Roughly a month later, Kathryn returned to Instagram to share a quick update on her firstborn, Kensington, aka Kensie. She shared a sweet photo of her and her girl posing outside with their dog.

“Girls day with my [not-so-little] one before she heads off to summer camp!” she captioned the snap. “Cherishing every moment.”

Months before the family updates, Kathryn confirmed she would continue her higher education. 

“This girl is going back to school!,” she wrote over a selfie with a “BREAKING NEWS” graphic at the bottom.

Kathryn didn’t provide any details on where she was enrolled or what she was studying. According to her LinkedIn, she began attending the University of South Carolina in 2009, pursuing degrees in political science and women’s studies.
