Patriots Receive Major Reaction to $43.5 Million Free Agency Move

The New England Patriots did not even wait for the NFL free agency tampering window to get started on building their roster.

On Sunday evening, the Patriots were able to land an agreement with free agent pass rusher Harold Landry. He will be a big help in getting the New England defense back on track.

Landry ended up agreeing to a three-year deal worth $43.5 million with the Patriots. He is a former Mike Vrabel player from their time together with the Tennessee Titans.

After being released by the Titans before ending up in New England, Landry was eligible to sign with any team he wanted at any time

Coming into the offseason, adding to the pass rush was a majority priority for the Patriots. Landry is coming off of a 2024 season that saw him play in 17 games. He recorded 71 tackles, nine sacks, and four defended passes.

Following the move by New England, the team received a very good reaction to signing Landry.

Here are just a few of the responses that were posted on social media about the Patriots signing Landry.
