The New England Patriots are in the market for a wide receiver and could be looking at every avenue for help. A trade, a free agent signing, or a draft pick all could be done to fix the wide receiver room.
One of the places the Patriots are most likely to look is in the 2025 NFL Draft. New England is looking at receivers around the college football world, and one of those teams is the Arkansas Razorbacks.
According to Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda, Arkansas wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa is receiving interest from a couple of teams, including the Patriots.
TeSlaa was one of the headlines from the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. He put up an incredible day in nearly every drill. His overall performance was ranked as the 30th-best wide receiver Scouting Combine performance according to Kent Lee Platte's Relative Athletic Score.
His athleticism is TeSlaa's main calling card. At 6'4'' and 214 pounds, TeSlaa ran a 4.43 40-yard dash and had great performances in the rest of the athletic testing.
However, he is likely to go on day three of the 2025 NFL Draft. TeSlaa only had 425 receiving yards on 25 receptions in 2024. In 2023, he had 351 yards on 34 receptions. His touchdown production was also minimal, catching three touchdowns in 2024 and two in 2023.
TeSlaa only played two seasons at Arkansas, and his numbers between those two years are worse than single seasons from some of the top receivers in this year's draft class.
The biggest positive for TeSlaa is his athleticism, and his catching ability. He didn't have a single drop at Arkansas and made incredible catches all year.
TeSlaa is projected to go on day three of the NFL Draft. The Patriots have expressed interest in TeSlaa according to Pauline, and could look to take him on day three of the 2025 NFL Draft on Saturday, April 26th.
