Paige DeSorbo 'wasn't around' to support Craig Conover before shock split due to her skyrocketing career-quang

Paige DeSorbo's skyrocketing career may have played a role in her split from fellow Bravo star Craig Conover, according to Andy Cohen.

Discussing their breakup on his SiriusXM show Radio Andy, Cohen claimed that DeSorbo had been absent at some of Conover's recent events.

Among them was a premiere party for Conover's show Southern Charm, which was held in DeSorbo's native New York.

'They are both in the middle of an incredible amount of success, both of them,' Cohen said.

Cohen pointed out that Conover has his Sewing Down South stores along with a restaurant that he's just opened, while DeSorbo's Giggly Squad podcast has become wildly popular.

'She's absolutely murdering it, killing it,' he gushed of DeSorbo, who has been on a sold-out live podcast tour with her co-host Hannah Berner since June.

'But I was at the Southern Charm premiere party and she wasn't there, at his place in New York,' Cohen recalled.

'There have been a few events that she hasn't, you know, she's just so busy,' he continued.

'I just think the more and more that that starts to happen, you know, you worry that it causes a strain.'

The reality TV pair first met in the Hamptons while filming Bravo's Summer House and later forged a deeper bond on the spinoff series Winter House.

Their chemistry had fans buzzing for months before they finally confirmed their romance on Instagram in October 2021, putting an end to swirling speculation.

'Craig and I have decided to no longer be together,' DeSorbo revealed during last week's episode of her Giggly Squad podcast.

Fighting back tears, the reality star admitted discussing the breakup publicly felt 'weird,' but she made it clear she holds only positive feelings for Conover.

'I love him. I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends,' she said, adding, 'No one did anything. It wasn't a bad thing.'

She went on to describe their decision as a mature one, saying, 'I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn't want.

'And I think that's extremely powerful to be able to voice how you're feeling in real time and what you want for your future.'

Paige remained tight-lipped about the exact reasons behind her breakup with Craig but described the past few years as 'very transformative,' noting that both she and Conover had experienced significant growth and change during their time together.

While she didn't specify when they officially ended their relationship, the pair appeared to still be on good terms as recently as last month when they celebrated Thanksgiving at her parents' home in upstate New York.

'He's definitely the best boyfriend I've ever had. Like, I can truly say that,' DeSorbo shared, reflecting on their time together.

'He was a great boyfriend, and he did everything correct, and he never made me feel insecure or anything like that, so it almost is harder when no one's done anything to be mad about, and that's hard.'

The shock announcement came just weeks after Craig, 35, shared with People that he had quit drinking, motivated by a desire to 'become more of a husband and father material' for the Summer House alum.

'We're playing the long game. It would be easy to go for instant gratification, but the foundation that we're building is so that we die together one day, not just make it fun,' Craig said on December 5, speaking about their relationship.

Confident about their future at the time, he added, 'We know we're going to get married one day, and when it happens, it'll be a lot of fun, but whenever that is, who knows?'

Looking ahead, Craig also reflected on their plans for family life.

'We've got a couple years probably until we start having kids, and then we'll have to figure it out,' he said, adding with a laugh, 'But I've really taken to this normal role now of being a happy wife, happy life.'

He also reflected on their long-distance relationship, emphasizing their commitment to making it work.

'Finding your person is the hard part,' he said, adding that they plan to figure out logistics later, with the goal of staying home with their future children as much as possible.
