Paige DeSorbo revealed a sudden medical emergency led her to exit “Love Island USA” early after appearing as a surprise guest over the weekend.
“It’s a long filming day, and we started pretty early,” the “Summer House” star shared on Tuesday’s episode of the “Giggly Squad” podcast.
DeSorbo explained she had just landed in Fiji and wasn’t “acclimated” before she headed to set.

“But I’m fine, I’m not gonna say that,” she added. “I’m not gonna be a diva. Like, I’m doing a job.”
“The sun starts beating down on me pretty aggressively,” the TV personality continued, explaining she was “uncomfortable” but has a “high pain tolerance.”
“I’m really waiting for the last second to tell you, because I don’t want to be a problem. I don’t want to be bothersome,” DeSorbo, 32, said.
“It’s a long filming day, and we started pretty early,” she said.

“I’m like an hour and a half into filming and I’m like, ‘You know what? Real quick, I’m feeling a little bit queasy. Let me take a moment to myself,'” she recalled. “I throw up.”
The Bravo star shared that she attempted to push through her sickness, noting that even producers noticed her “swaying a little bit.”
“I’m not feeling totally normal, but again, I’m not stopping the show that has so graciously asked me to come on,” DeSorbo said. “I literally sat down [and] passed out.”
The Bravo star recalled not feeling well but not wanting to make a fuss.
Within an hour and a half into filming, she threw up.
From there, the Bravolebrity knew she couldn’t continue.
DeSorbo’s sudden disappearance from Sunday’s episode left several fans confused, with one writing on X, “Why did she peace out before it was done?”

Despite the setback, DeSorbo honored her appearance via Instagram, alongside photos of herself on the dating show set.
The influencer wore a cut-out turtle neck dress for the episode.
