Paige DeSorbo gave an update on her new life as a single woman. The “Summer House” star spoke out on the January 15 episode of the “Giggly Squad” podcast to share how she’s changed since her sudden split from “Southern Charm” veteran Craig Conover.
“We’re not in our twenties anymore, so not that you can’t be single like you were in your twenties, like you can do whatever you want, but it’s almost like you don’t want to be,” DeSorbo, 32, said to her podcast co-host Hannah Berner.
“Like, when I got single at 28, I was like, ‘Catch me in every single club that exists in New York City,’ and I was there. Like, you could find me in a club.” DeSorbo continued. “Now, I’m like, ‘I would pass away if I went to a club until 4 a.m. Like, I’d literally pass away.’ So, it is weird thinking of, ‘What am I going to do being single?'”
“I’ve done a couple of dinners with my girlfriends,” she added. “I haven’t gone out out yet.”
On December 30, DeSorbo confirmed that her relationship with Conover was over. “Craig and I have decided to no longer be together,” she shared on her podcast. “I think it is the right decision for both of us.”
Paige DeSorbo Once Said She Was ‘Scared of Change’
DeSorbo dated Conover for more than three years, and fans saw their relationship play out on their respective reality shows as well as the Bravo spinoff “Winter House.” DeSorbo was previously in a nearly five-year relationship with Perry Rahbar, but he did not join her in the Hamptons to film “Summer House.”
In October 2020, DeSorbo confirmed she split from Rahbar. “[It’s] confirmed. I am a single girl about the town now,” she shared on “Giggly Squad.”
After Berner said breakups are the “best” and “change is good,“ DeSorbo agreed. “I used to be so scared of change, now I welcome that [expletive],” she said. “What’s meant for you, you can’t mess it up.”
Craig Conover Plans to Travel All Year
Conover admitted he was not expecting to break up with DeSorbo, especially right before the holidays. On January 7, he posted a video to his Instagram story and said, “This has all been very, very unexpected to say the least. But I guess life has to … I gotta start living again, whatever that looks like, whatever my new normal looks like, I have to start.”
“I just have to take my own advice when I speak at these home shows that no one is ever not better after a breakup,” the Sewing Down South founder added.
Conover will spend much of the next year on the road to promote his pillow company and lifestyle brand, Sewing Down South. On January 12, he posted an Instagram Reel of a pit stop at the Salt Lake City Home Show. “Looking forward to a full year traveling with Market Place Events,” he captioned his post. “One of my favorite things is meeting people like you at home shows all across the country.”
