Paige DeSorbo is making her hair commercial dreams come true. The reality star has teamed up with TRESemmé for the new Lamellar Gloss Collection's Give Gloss campaign, and there's no doubt — she was made for this.
On set one sunny February day in Miami, DeSorbo, 32, twirls her hair as she expertly poses and smirks for the camera. At one point, she has the idea to hold the product bottle to her ear like a telephone, which the crew immediately loves. Her natural charm and quick humor is what makes her a beloved cast member on Bravo's Summer House and now, it's landing her major beauty campaigns.
"I feel like I manifested this," she tells PEOPLE seated on a leather couch in her trailer between shots. "10 years ago, I saw Arielle Charnas in a TRESemmé commercial and I was like, 'I need to do that.' I am such a true TRESemmé girl because they're the only brand that make a travel size hairspray that I can find in CVS."
"I am from upstate New York and Italian, so I'll never forget [hairspray]," she later jokes. Aside from her tried-and-true staple, the TRESemmé product she's reaching for the most these days is the Finishing Oil. "I love an oil for my end, and then if it makes it extra shiny, it's like two in one," DeSorbo says. "And it smells really good. All of their products smell really good."

The collection features five steps (Lamellar Gloss Shampoo & Conditioner, Lamellar Gloss Finishing Oil, Lamellar Gloss Cream Serum and Lamellar Gloss Shine Spray, each retailing for $6.99) formulated to give hair 72 hours of glossy shine.
The collaboration feels like a full-circle moment for the star. "My first fashion week I ever went to, TRESemmé had a pop-up where you could get your hair done, but I wasn't allowed to go in it because I was a nobody," DeSorbo recalls. "And I remember staring at it and being like, 'You guys. One day.'"
So, getting the call from TRESemmé seemed too good to be true. "At first I was like, 'Oh, they just want to do a social campaign,'" she says. "And then when they were like, 'No, this is a real commercial.' I was like, 'I'm an actress.'"
Since rising to fame on Summer House, DeSorbo has become known for her trend-forward style and glam beauty looks. Despite her love of all things beauty, the star admits that over the course of nine seasons, her priorities have shifted.
"When I first started on Summer House I was like, 'Oh my God, we're going to be filmed when we wake up.' And I would put makeup on and do my hair," she says. "Now I'm like, 'Pass me the pimple cream, the cameras are coming in and I have to hide this.' So I definitely am way more lax about it."
Her fashion sense is on its own journey. "I feel like my style has definitely evolved, but also I want to say that it's kind of reverted back," DeSorbo muses. "I love a peplum now. I'm in capris. I haven't worn capris since Limited Too in 1996, so it's definitely evolved but also stayed true to me."

DeSorbo maintains a through line of authenticity in everything she does, whether it's a hair commercial or her podcast Giggly Squad, which she hosts alongside Summer House alum Hannah Berner. The duo are taking their hilarious banter from the air waves to the page in their forthcoming advice book, How to Giggle, releasing April 15.
Her most unfiltered thoughts, however, come through in impromptu Instagram Stories shared to her 1.5 million followers. "Im like, 'No one's going to see this,' And then it's like 500,000 people saw it and I'm like, "Okay,'" she says.
DeSorbo adds: "I'm talking to the Gigglers 95% of the time. That's all I care about."
