Paige DeSorbo Gets Support From an Unlikely ‘Southern Charm’ Star-quang

The “Southern Charm” season 10 finale is in the books, and fans are geared up for the reunion. But there is some off-screen drama that is stealing the spotlight. “Summer House” star Paige DeSorbo has found herself caught in an unexpected Charleston feud, and she is getting support from an unlikely “Southern Charm” star. Here’s a breakdown of the unfolding saga.

Shep Rose Throws Shade at Paige DeSorbo

The spark ignited when Reality Blurb’s Instagram shared an article detailing Shep Rose’s frustration with DeSorbo, who dated his friend and co-star Craig Conover until late 2024 but never joined “Southern Charm” cast trips.

Rose didn’t hold back in the article, criticizing DeSorbo’s absence from “Southern Charm” cast trips and calling her popular “Giggly Squad” podcast with Hannah Berner a “stupid (expletive) talk show.”

As a recurring guest rather than a full cast member, DeSorbo’s absence from group outings on “Southern Charm” hardly seemed a requirement, making Rose’s comments an obvious jab at her rising star power beyond the world of “Summer House.”

Paige DeSorbo Gets Support From an Unlikely ‘Southern Charm’ Star

In the comments section of the Instagram post highlighting the article, DeSorbo received some unexpected support from an unlikely “Southern Charm” star. Jarrett “JT” Thomas quickly came to DeSorbo’s defense, writing, “Can’t blame Paige at all re: the cast trip decision… Also, I love seeing her and Hannah Berner continuing to grow and succeed in life.”

Thomas’ sentiment resonated with fans and earned over 100 likes. But Austen Kroll wasn’t having it. He called out his co-star’s move as “one of the most pathetic ‘pick me’ ploys I’ve ever seen,” per Comments By Bravo.

The “pick me” label hints at Thomas angling for favor after a season of burning bridges with the “Southern Charm” cast.

JT Thomas Braces for ‘Southern Charm’ Reunion Fallout

Ahead of the season 10 reunion, Thomas told BravoTV that he’s ready for the heat. He admitted that he’s anticipating scrutiny over his spats this season with castmates like Venita Aspen and Patricia Altschul.

“I feel like the truth will set you free, and I know I can be annoying at times—or a lot of the time—to this group, but it’s nice to be on the side of truth today and I’m looking forward to just some good quality, substantive chat [and] dialogue,”” he said.

Thomas wasn’t expecting to become best friends with “Southern Charm” co-stars by the end of the reunion. But, he did admit that there are “some relationships” on the show that he enjoys and there are people in the cast who he just wants “to get back to neutral with.”

Part one of “Southern Charm’s” season 10 reunion hits screens on March 27.
