Packers Make Final Call on Injury Status of Quarterback Jordan Love - suong

When Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers take the field for Sunday’s wild card matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, they’ll have a key piece of their offense back in the fold.

Packers starting quarterback Jordan Love is officially off the injury report and will be under center on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.

Love had been dealing with an elbow injury sustained in the Packers' Week 18 loss to the Chicago Bears but returned to full participation in practice on Thursday and Friday, clearing the way for his return.

This marks a significant development for a young Green Bay team as it heads into a hostile road environment against the NFC's top-seeded Eagles.

The 26-year-old signal-caller put together a solid season, finishing the regular season with 25 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, and 3,389 passing yards across 15 starts.

Love has battled through several injuries this season, including an MCL sprain suffered in Week 1 against these very Eagles, but his toughness has been a constant theme in his second year as a starter.

The Packers (11-6) enter Sunday’s matchup as 5.5-point underdogs, but Love’s ability to generate explosive plays—and the ground game, led by Josh Jacobs, gives Green Bay hope.

Last postseason, Love led the team to a 48-32 upset win over the Dallas Cowboys as a road underdog, and the Packers will be looking for a similar outcome this time around.Kickoff between the Packers and Eagles (14-3) is set for 4:30 p.m. ET, with Green Bay needing a strong performance from its young quarterback to keep its playoff hopes alive.
