Olivia Attwood swipes at ex Chris Hughes as she reveals reality of relationship - suong

Love Island star Olivia Attwood has taken a swipe at her ex boyfriend Chris Hughes who she met during the ITV2 dating show in 2017. The couple reached third place, however things weren't meant to be as they called it quits just a year later.

Olivia then got back with her ex-boyfriend, footballer Bradley Dack, who she tied the knot with during a lavish London ceremony in June 2023. Now, Olivia has opened up about her former relationship during a chat with Married at First Sight star Ella Morgan.

Ella, who was speaking on her break-up with Celebs Go Dating star Alex James Ali, confessed to Olivia how she showed her relationship off as "perfect" for her fans on social media, when in reality, that wasn't the case.

Olivia completely understood as she told Ella she was guilty of doing the same thing with her Love Island ex Chris. "Chris and I did that. He would put up a selfie of me and him with like hearts underneath and I'd be thinking, this p***k hasn't answered the phone to me for four days," she said.

However, it wasn't only Chris, as Olivia continued: "I was guilty of it too. We both did it. We felt we had to maintain it. When we split in an explosive way, people said, 'You are amazing together!' I was like, 'We're not, we are horrible together'."

Earlier on in the chat, the former Love Island star revealed that the most unhappy couples she knows have the "most on point" social media. "It's almost, the more you post how happy you are often the case is behind closed doors that it's the opposite," she said. "It's sad reality of the world we live in. And there's an added pressure when you come off a TV show."

Olivia has previously revealed that 'incompatibility' was the main reasoning behind her split with Chris. Speaking to the MailOnline she said: "It was toxic with Chris and we argued a lot. I never had that problem with Brad, we never argued. I was just incompatible with Chris.

"You meet on this show and things are very different in the real world. You think 'oh s*** do we actually have stuff in common? It wasn't meant to be."

Last month it was revealed that Chris had reportedly "signed up" to star in the upcoming series of Celebrity Big Brother, which is set to land on ITV soon.

A source shared with The Sun: "Producers think Chris will be a great addition to the house. He is really entertaining and was one of the most popular and iconic reality contestants with a massive social media following."
