Ohio State Buckeyes running back TreVeyon Henderson's stock is on the rise when it comes to the NFL draft. The Ohio State playmaker has been a big reason for the Buckeyes success, and NFL teams are likely taking notice.
Boise State Broncos playmaker Ashton Jeanty headlines the 2025 running back prospects, but Henderson has a chance to be one of the first rushers selected after the Heisman Trophy finalist comes off the board.
Heading into the National Championship Game, Henderson posted 132 carries for 967 yards and 10 touchdowns during the 2024 season. Henderson has also added 27 receptions for 284 yards and a TD through the air.

Athlon Sports' NFL draft analyst Luke Easterling projects the Las Vegas Raiders will select Henderson in the second round in his latest mock draft. The analyst predicts Henderson will be the No. 68 overall pick as the third running back to be selected in the 2025 NFL draft.
Maxx Crosby continues to be the face of the Raiders franchise as the offense is likely to undergo an overhaul this offseason, including at quarterback. Crosby's four-year, $94 million contract is slated to go through the 2026 season.
The Raiders are still searching for a replacement since Josh Jacobs bolted for the Green Bay Packers during the 2024 offseason. Las Vegas did not have a running back top 500 rushing yards this season.
Henderson would likely be the favorite to be the Raiders RB1 if the playmaker is selected by the franchise in the NFL draft.
