‘No Pauline, you're miserable – ps off kindly’ — Chris Hughes fiercely claps back after being branded ‘creepy’ over JoJo Siwa romance as trolls flood their relationship with cruel comments, and a sweet moment triggers emotional breakdown - suong

CHRIS Hughes has reacted to ongoing trolling by people who say he is "creepy" for his relationship with JoJo Siwa.

The former Love Islander, 32, met the 22-year-old American pop star in this year's Celebrity Big Brother house where their relationship blossomed before the country's eyes.

Wanting to show off their romance, Chris recently posted a series of loved-up snaps with JoJo to his Instagram account.

The carousel of photos included them gazing lovingly at each other, sharing kisses, lounging at home, playing sports including tennis and golf, spending time with family, and soaking up some sun poolside.

Chris captioned the post: "Just everything. Missing you," and added a series of emojis, including a white love heart.

While Chris received mainly positive comments from his 2.2 million followers, other people were not so kind, but the TV star did not shy away from standing up for himself.

One troll named Pauline wrote: "Does anybody else find this creepy," to which Chris responded, "No Pauline, you're miserable, p**s off kindly," and she retorted, "lol we see long it lasts."

Christ wrote back to her: "Yeah again, you don't need to speak, you don't follow me, respectfully do one thank you."

But the trolling did not end there with another hater named Liz writing: "Mate sort yourself out. You would do anything for fame," and a fan of Chris stepped in to defend him: "Oh Liz, imagine hating someone who's just living and happy. Misery aren't you."

Liz replied: "I don't hate anybody sweetheart I just live in the real world," and Chris responded to her, "the real world! online bullies are the real world apparently."

The experience of online trolling and bullying were very common for the famous pair and could trigger intense emotions, as was proved recently when Chris accidentally triggered memories of abuse from bullies for Jojo.

The singer took to Instagram to share a video of the pair as she said: “I’m drying my hair right now and he goes, ‘You have a really good hairline’.”

As the two laughed, Chris added: “You do have a good hairline, I don’t get what’s making you laugh.”

JoJo said: “No, it’s making me cry, that’s the number one thing I was bullied for as a kid.”

As Chris comforted his girlfriend, she opened up: “That’s destroyed me over the years and you’ve just said it out of literal nowhere and it was really nice.”

The Love Island star proceeded to wipe JoJo’s tears from her face with a tissue as the couple hugged in a sweet embrace.

JoJo previously revealed she experienced a stress rash as a child, which caused hair loss on one side of her head.

This was made worse by the tight hairstyles she wore for dance performances, with the Dance Moms star being known for her signature ponytail.
