Nick Viall slammed Lisa Vanderpump after she questioned the paternity of Kristen Doute’s baby.
The “Viall Files” host expressed his dismay via his Instagram Story Friday by sharing a screenshot of Page Six’s article about the matter.
“What kind of person protects a man arrested for [domestic violence] while shading one of his exes?” he wrote atop the screenshot, referring to James Kennedy, who was arrested on Dec. 10 and dated Doute between 2013 and 2015. Viall, 44, previously criticized Vanderpump, 64, for remaining silent following Kennedy’s arrest.
The Bachelor Nation star went on, “I used to be such a fan of LVP, the respect is all gone.”
Nick Viall criticized Lisa Vanderpump for questioning the paternity of Kristen Doute and her fiancé, Luke Broderick’s, baby.
He posted the above message on his Instagram Story Friday and said Broderick will “be a great dad.”
Viall also defended Doute’s fiancé, Luke Broderick, saying, “For what it’s worth, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Luke and it’s easy to see he’s going to be a great dad and loves Kristen very much. He has 10x the character than most of the men Lisa has defended over the years.”
Page Six contacted Vanderpump’s rep for comment regarding Viall’s shade.
Doute, 41, announced she was expecting her and Broderick’s rainbow baby in late November — one year after revealing they had experienced a pregnancy loss.
Broderick and Doute announced they were expecting their rainbow baby in late November.
Vanderpump questioned the paternity of their baby in a recent episode of an “Access Hollywood” podcast.
“How on Earth did that happen? Who’s the father? Do we know?” she asked when she discovered Doute was pregnant. She then claimed to be unaware that Doute was engaged — despite co-producing the reality show Doute stars in with Broderick, “The Valley.”
After the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum’s reaction was published, Doute called her a clown via her Instagram Story.
Former “Vanderpump Rules” star Scheana Shay also stuck up for Doute, calling Vanderpump the “Jax-Hole of the Week” on her “Scheananigans” podcast.
“With all due respect, it was kind of shady. … Super shady,” Shay slammed. “That’s also unprofessional especially because Lisa is a producer of ‘The Valley.'”
“You know who Luke is,” she continued. “He is a cast member of this show. This season, they get engaged.”
