Interestingly, it was also his 106th power play goal in a Rangers uniform. With that goal, Zibanejad tied Rangers legend Brian Leetch for 4th most powerplay goals in Rangers history.
Being mentioned along side Leetch's name is a massive honour, to say the least.

He has won the Stanley Cup, the Calder Trophy as the NHL rookie of the year and the Norris Trophy twice as the League's top defenseman. He was captain of the United States tam that won the 1996 World Cup of Hockey.
While fans are pumped for their Swedish forward, the New York Rangers cannot afford to lose this game against the Jets.
Zibanejad will have to come up with a few more goals tonight, or the Rangers risk losing relevacet in the wildcard picture.
Regardless, Congratulations Mika Zibanejad!
