Today the New York Rangers made an announcement celebrating top offensive prospect Gabe Perreault as today is his birthday.
Today is Perreault's birthday, and he turns 20-years old and the New York Rangers made a special post on social media wishing him a happy birthday as the star was born on May 7th, 2005.

Gabe Perreault was originally drafted by the New York Rangers in the first round with the 23rd Overall pick of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. Since then the top prospect has only managed to play in five games this past season with the New York Rangers.
During his time, Perreault failed to tally any points during those games with the New York Rangers.
Earlier this season, the Rangers and Gabe Perreault reached an agreement on his entry-level contract, a three-year deal with the team, worth a $941K AAV and will become an RFA at the expiry of the contract after the 2026-2027 season.
Gabe Perreault truly made a name for himself with his time in the NCAA:
Among all NCAA skaters over the last two seasons, Perreault ranked tied for second in assists and third in points. In his freshman season (2023-24), he skated in 36 games, posting 19 goals and 41 assists for 60 points along with a plus-24 rating.
