New York Rangers organization issues a special announcement regarding veteran Jonny Brodzinski

   

The New York Rangers have made a surprising announcement today involving one of their players, in particular their forward Jonny Brodzinski.

Today the New York Rangers made an announcement celebrating the veteran forward Jonny Brodzinski as today is his birthday.
Today is Jonny Brodzinski birthday, and he turns 32-years old and the New York Rangers made a special post on social media wishing him a happy birthday as the star was born on June 19th, 1993.

#NYR Jonny Brodzinski turns 32 today🥳

Jonny Brodzinski was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Kings during the 5th round with the 148 overall pick of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Brodzinski then managed to play three seasons with the Kings before signing with the San Jose Sharks for the 2019-2020 season where he only played three games.
Following that, Brodzinski then joined the New York Rangers for the 2020-21 season and has been with the team since.
Earlier this season, the Rangers and Gabe Perreault reached an agreement on his entry-level contract, a three-year deal with the team, worth a $941K AAV and will become an RFA at the expiry of the contract after the 2026-2027 season.
Just last season the New York Rangers made the decision to sign Jonny Brodzinski to a two-year contract extension, back on February 21, 2024. The contract is a one-way deal, with Brodzinski earning $787,500 annually whether he stays in the NHL or is sent down to the minors.
This past season Jonny Brodzinski played in 51 games for the New York Rangers where he managed to tally 12 goals and 7 assist for a total of 19 points. In hopes that this upcoming season he can play a bigger role for the Rangers.
