New York Rangers Linked To Unexpected Stanley Cup Champion To Bolster Offensive Depth

TheNew York Rangers could always use more secondary-scoring, and that comes in middle-nine forwards. The team has been linked to one former-Stanley Cup champion who could fit that mold in Robby Fabbri, of the Anaheim Ducks, and St. Louis Blues.Robby Fabbri

The New York Rangers could add some depth in the lineup, just in case players don't make it into the lineup after training camp.
Particularly, the prospects such as Gabe Perreault or Brett Berard, as the team needs to hustle to find more secondary scoring for the year. Something they've missed since they traded away Filip Chytil and Kaapo Kakko.
That could come from former Stanley Cup champion, Robby Fabbri.

Fabbri won a cup with the St. Louis Blues in 2018-19 and has become a journeyman in the NHL since.
Last season, he laced up the skates with the Anaheim Ducks, scoring 16 points (8-8) in 44 games. The year beforehand, 32 points (18-14).
His highest career output came during his rookie season in 2015-16, scoring 37 points (18-19) with the Blues. He's always been a depth addition wherever he's landed. Before the Ducks, he played in Detroit for the Red Wings for five years.
Fabbri's last contract paid him $4 million AAV in Anaheim, and he remains without a contract as a UFA.
Could GM Chris Drury find him a new home in the Rangers' bottom-six?
The former 21st overall pick in the 2014 NHL Draft has only played for three NHL teams during his career, and the Rangers could be his fourth if Drury could make a deal happen.
Though it might require a cap dump elsewhere for a late-round pick.
