New York Rangers legendary goaltender Henrik Lundqvist is set to receive a great honor an as he was inducted into the International Ice Hockey Federation Hall of Fame.
This honor was given to Lundqvist as he has represented his home country of Sweden since the early stages of his career and has become one of the best Swedish goaltenders in NHL history.

Lundqvist had been a staple on Team Sweden for many years

The 43-year-old netminder who had an amazing career with the Rangers as much as team Sweden has been enjoying retirement as he has become a popular analyst with NHL on TNT.
He was drafted by the Rangers in the year 2000, seventh round 205th overall. He had spent his entire time of his NHL career with the Rangers which began in 2005 and came to an end in 2020.
His record was 459-310-96 along with a goal against of 2.43 and a save percentage of .918 with 64 shutouts.
Lundqvist has won one gold and two silver medals in the IIHF World Championships, the Honken Trophy (the Swedish equivalent to the Vezina Trophy) three consecutive times from 2003-05, and a Guldpucken (Swedish MVP Trophy) during the 2004-05 campaign. - Remey Mastey

One trophy missing in Lundqvist's impressive trophy case

Unfortunately, Lundqvist was unable to win a Stanley Cup with the Rangers but was in several conference finals and 1 Stanley Cup final back in 2014 where they were defeated by the Los Angeles Kings.
