New England Patriots Send 3-Word Julian Edelman Message After Major Announcement

The New England Patriots made a major announcement regarding former star wide receiver Julian Edelman on Monday.

At 10:02 a.m. ET on Monday morning, the Patriots Hall of Fame official account on X announced that Edelman has been selected as the 37th member of the team's Hall of Fame. He is more than deserving of that honor after the impressive career he put together.

Edelman was a part of three Super Bowl wins throughout his tenure in New England.

Following the announcement form the Patriots' Hall of Fame, the Patriots' official team account on X sent a three-word reaction to the news.

"JULES MADE @THEHALL!!!" the post read.

Also, the wide receiver himself took to X to send a short message of gratefulness for being selected.

"Honored and grateful," he wrote.

Throughout his NFL career, Edelman played in 137 career games. He played all of those games with New England, being one of the few players who started and ended his career with the same franchise.

In those appearances, Edelman racked up 620 receptions for 6,822 yards and 36 touchdowns. He was a favorite target for the legendary Tom Brady.

To get into the Patriots' Hall of Fame, Edelman was selected over kicker Adam Vinatieri and offensive lineman Logan Mankins, who both also deserve the honor at some point in time.

This is a massive honor for Edelman and a true testament to the career he put together. He was never the best player in New England, but he was a consistent presence who contributed in a huge way to the dynasty the Patriots built.
