Nene Leakes slammed the cast of The Real Housewives of Potomac and the Real Housewives franchise as a whole while addressing Robyn Dixon’s recent revelation regarding Juan Dixon’s interaction with another woman.
After sharing details about the indiscretions of Robyn’s now-husband, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum shaded Robyn and other Housewives cast members as “starless” and “not famous” while also speaking about her potential return to Bravo.
“Oh honey… Yes for the starless Robyn Dixon, child. Starless, honey. Star-less,” Nene stated on The Breakfast Club, via Instagram. “These girls on these shows are just not stars. Like, if you really look at it, all of the stars that were on any of these franchises, they took them off and everybody that’s left is starless.”
Then, when host Charlamagne tha God, real name Lenard Larry McKelvey, pointed out that RHOP has “high ratings,” Nene questioned whether his suggestion was accurate.
“Does it? When’s the last time you looked at those ratings?” she wondered, noting that she doesn’t watch the show.
“I watch the clips, though, that come on social media. But I’m not really a TV watcher,” she explained. “I don’t watch TV at all.”
After Charlamagne claimed he believes the ladies of the Real Housewives are “stars” and played a clip from the podcast episode in which Robyn came forward with Juan’s “affair,” Nene gave a nod to his other woman’s claims that Robyn and Juan would make her famous.
“So the side piece was going to become famous off of them. But are they famous? [That’s] the question,” she shared. “They’re not famous. They may be known. There’s a difference between famous and known and so I don’t know about famous but maybe it’s known for a minute.”
And when presented with the idea of Robyn clapping back at her for her shade, Nene said, “I could care less,” and she encouraged her to “go right ahead.”
Nene even hesitated when asked if Kandi Burruss was famous.
“Now you just hating, Nene,” Charlamagne stated.
“I am not hating. I’m just telling y’all the truth,” she replied, then saying she “will give Kandi.”
“But everyone else, I don’t see it,” she added.
In another clip of The Breakfast Club episode, shared by The Neighborhood Talk on Instagram, Nene was asked if she would go back to RHOA after her lawsuit drama with the network and Andy Cohen.
“I have no plans to come back,” Nene confirmed. “I feel like that ship has sailed and I’ve grown in so many ways it’s just not something that I’m interested in doing right now. You let those girls go ahead on.”
Nene then dissed the cast, asking, “They holding it down, you think?” She then answered, “Not really … Not really.”
When Nene was further questioned about whether anyone has reached out to her about a comeback, Nene revealed they had not.
“No, and they shouldn’t,” she shared. “Now the girls that are on the show, we’re cool. But for me to be on the show, no. I have no interest in being on the show, honestly. They can call me for advice I’ll try to help as best I can. [But] that will be all.”
