NeNe Leakes Responds to Fans Asking About Potential RHOA Return: ‘I Live for Y’all’

NeNe Leakes is one of the most iconic Real Housewives in Bravo history. Her name is almost synonymous with Real Housewives of Atlanta. But when NeNe turned in her peach after Season 12, she decided to hold Bravo accountable. She even called for a boycott of the network. So, while NeNe burned a lot of bridges, she seems to be slowly coming closer to a Bravo comeback. Could this mean that NeNe would return to Season 17 of RHOA?

NeNe filed a lawsuit against Bravo, NBCUniversal, Andy Cohen, and the RHOA production team. She alleged that she was the victim of racism and an uncomfortable workplace. In August 2022, NeNe dismissed the lawsuit.

Now NeNe has slowly been getting more offers for work. She landed a reality show on Lifetime, although this time it isn’t documenting her life. “The new series showcases wild clips of real people caught up in love as NeNe reacts and gives her personal insight alongside the action,” a press release read.

But the biggest news is that NeNe recently worked for NBC Universal. She co-hosted a special on E! called Live from E!: Emmy After Party. NeNe joined E! News host Justin Sylvester and Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix to give their takes on the Emmy goings-on.

Rolling Out reported that NeNe addressed a return to RHOA during an Instagram Live. When a fan commented that NeNe should return to the show, she responded. And it certainly sounded positive. “I live for y’all putting me on season 17. I live for y’all automatically giving me a position,” she replied.

It looks like NeNe is getting her professional life back on track. If she and Andy can work out their differences, maybe there finally is hope that this icon could return to RHOA. I’d love to be a fly on the wall for that meeting – if it ever happens.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is streaming on Peacock.
