Monica Garcia hinted at why she won’t “sue” Heather Gay for “defamation” over allegations about Jen Shah’s husband Sharrieff Shah. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum, who was let go last season after Heather exposed her involvement in a ‘troll page,’ shaded Heather’s “boring book” and lack of a “storyline.”
Amid the new season, some fans have called out Heather for criticizing her co-stars, including newbie Bronwyn Newport, rather than opening up about her own life.
In her new memoir, Good Time Girl, Heather claimed Monica alleged that Sharrieff tried to kiss her in a gas station parking lot, and she pushed him off. Both Monica and Sharrieff have denied this.
“At this point, it doesn’t matter what I say or what I do, people are going to believe what they want to believe,” said Monica in a social media video shared by @GossipInformer on X. “I am [at] the point in my life where I am just gonna let them believe whatever they want.”
But she told fans to “open [their] eyes” and “wake up and see what’s happening.”
“This is a trap. This is a bait. I’m not falling for it,” she said. “If I sue her for defamation, I can’t come back to the show.”
“And when I tell you y’all don’t know the lengths that certain people have gone to, to keep me off this show … Not today, Satan. Not today, honey. You go ahead and run your mouth like you’ve been doing, I don’t care. Girl, how are you still in the same spot I left you over a year ago? You are really still out here with no d**n storyline of your own.”
“You’ve still got to distract onto other people, b**ch, because it is so hard for you to talk about your d**n self,” said Monica. She then mouthed along to the audio, “Why are you so obsessed with me? … Get a life.”
She wrote over the video, “Imagine having to write about someone you hate so much because you think it will make your boring book that much more interesting.”
New episodes of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City air Wednesday nights on Bravo.
