Molly O'Connell's Daring Confession: Her Plans for Pursuing Shep Rose Take Everyone by Surprise - lulu

Molly O'Connell has her sights set on a special someone.

In the above preview for Season 10, Episode 6 of Southern Charm — set to air Thursday, Jan. 16 — the new cast member reveals that despite Shep Rose's storied romantic history, she hasn't completely ruled him out as a love interest.

"Shep is undeniably a handsome man. He's extremely intelligent; He's very open-minded," she shares in a confessional. "Overall, I think Shep is definitely up there for me."

Of course, at the time of this confession, Shep was in a relationship with former Miss Bahamas Sienna Evans, making things a bit complicated. But Molly also knew from the jump that things probably wouldn't work out between Sienna and Shep, who are no longer together.

"Technically, Shep could be her dad," Molly adds with a laugh.

Is Molly O'Connell dating anyone?

In the Southern Charm preview, Molly goes on to talk about her complicated dating life in Charleston. More specifically, she notes that it's not uncommon to see handsome eligible bachelors from the area dating younger women. "I think a lot of Southern men, they just want some young girl who is not going to question them on things. But I'm going to question everything — what were you doing? What did you do that day? Who were you talking to?" she jokes.

"That's probably why I'm single," Molly concludes.

Molly O'Connell and Shep Rose's friendship history

Back in December, Molly and Shep were guests on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where the model revealed that it was Shep who gave her the best advice when it came to appearing on Southern Charm

"Shep [said] just to be authentic and be myself because people can tell when you're not," she shared.

As for what Shep thinks of Molly, he tells her himself that she's an attractive woman in the first look at Episode 6, calling her a "babe."

And when Molly dismisses his compliment, he tells her to give herself "a little more credit."

What's more, he even invites himself to Molly's concert with the Charleston Concert Band so he can see her perform on the miniature tuba, also known as the Euphonium.

So, is there potential for a little romance between Molly and Shep? To find out, tune in to new episodes of Southern Charm, which air every Thursday on Bravo at 9/8c. Episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
