Southern Hospitality’s Mia Alario called out Craig Conover’s suggestion that Shep Rose would have hooked up with her if he hadn’t stepped in.
Craig made the insinuation on the Southern Charm season nine premiere in the midst of a heated fight with Shep’s ex Taylor Ann Green, who was in a relationship with him when the alleged ‘near-hookup’ took place. In the same episode, it was also insinuated that Taylor hooked up with Shep’s friend Austen Kroll after the breakup.
After the episode aired, Mia took to Twitter and called out Craig’s narrative.
“PLZ not Craig saying I would’ve boinked Shep if it wasn’t for him,” wrote the star on September 14. “Release me from the shackles of Shepgate!!”
She then asked that someone “roll the security footage of trio,” seemingly indicating that Craig was not being truthful.
Meanwhile, Austen wrote an Instagram post addressing the complexity of season nine.
“Season 9 is a doozy- full of high ups and trench-like-downs. For me, personally, this season is a long journey, full of growth… Hard truths, learning moments, laughter, crying (even ugly crying) and at times, even regression,” he shared.
The star went on to say, “Old Friendships were tested, and some were even strengthened. I choose year in and year out to show every aspect of my life, in the raw. That means the good, the bad, the really bad.”
Austen continued, “Every year, without fail, I find myself anxious and excited for everyone to see what we were able to capture…and this year is no different. Season 9 is layered and complex, and that’s quite simply because we put our lives out there for the world to see.”
Alongside the message, Austen posted an image of himself from the premiere.
Austen’s ex Madison Lecroy then wrote a short but shady response: “Is this your Lock Screen photo!?”
