Melissa Gorga Shares Hopeful Update on RHONJ Season 15

Melissa Gorga expects to hear news about “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” very soon, and she’s not ruling out working with her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice.

During a February 2025 appearance on the “Sherri” show, the RHONJ star addressed rumors of a full reboot or cast shakeup for season 15.

Gorga told host Sherri Shepherd that “of course” there is a chance she will be back on the show even if new cast members are added. “We’ll see,” she said. “I’m hoping that we’ll get some news about the ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ sooner than later. We were told we would get news like after the New Year, so I do think that they are working on it right now.

“I have some good [intel],” the Envy boutique owner added. “I feel like they’re working on it.  I know they’re definitely talking to bring in some new girls.  I’m assuming they’re going to keep some familiar faces as well.”

When asked if there is “any kind of world” in which she and Giudice could “bury the hatchet” so fans could see them together again, Gorga admitted that she thinks that ship has sailed. But she added, “But we’ll see. We don’t know what’s to come or what… you know, I always I never say never in life because I always find out that’s exactly what happens. So we’ll see what’s next and I’m excited about whatever comes.”

Gorga noted that she loves working with the Bravo network. “They’re a great family to me so we’ll see what happens,” she added.

RHONJ has been on a hiatus following a toxic season 14 that left the cast divided.

In August 2024, Gorga told “Two T’s In a Pod” co-hosts Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge that she is nothing like her estranged sister-in-law, and hinted she wouldn’t want to work with her again.

“So, if Bravo decides to go that route, kind of the darker whatever it is route, then I need to say, ‘That is not a show that I want to be on anyway,’ which it truly isn’t,” she said. “I do not want to be on that toxic [expletive], so as long as she is there and that whole thing would come back, I wouldn’t find it as a loss.”

She clarified her comments the following month on the “No Filter With Zack Peter” podcast. “I had said like I don’t want to come back to the toxic ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ and what that was,” she explained. “It was getting really dark and something that I wasn’t proud to even be on. I feel like that part of the show I grew out of, almost. I feel like what I was trying to say was that I want to be on ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey,’ but I want it to be a ‘Housewives’ show.”

Giudice has made it clear she isn’t open to filming with Gorga. In a July 2024 interview on Kelly Ripa’s “Let’s Talk Off Camera” podcast, Giudice said that she won’t film with her estranged brother Joe or her sister-in-law ever again.

“Never again,” Giudice told Ripa. “First of all, to me, family is so sacred. I’m all about ‘The Godfather’ movie. You never go against the family. I live by that, I stand by that, I’m a loyal person.”

More recently, Giudice told PIX11’s ‘New York Living” that she was happy to take a break from the show after a “toxic” 14th season. When asked about the break from her family members who appeared with her on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Giudice added, “No that’s a permanent break.”
