The two have shared a complicated and often contentious relationship, marked by explosive arguments and deep emotional wounds. However, in a surprising new interview, Melissa Gorga has hinted that she may be open to mending her fractured relationship with Teresa.
In a candid discussion on the Sherri show with host Sherri Shepherd, Melissa revealed that despite the years of tension, she isn’t completely ruling out the possibility of reconciliation. When asked about the potential for rebuilding their relationship, she said, “We’ll see. We don’t know what’s to come. I never say never in life because I always find out that’s exactly what happens. So, we’ll see what’s next.” This comes after Melissa Gorga said she wouldn’t want to return to the show if Teresa Giudice returns.
While it may seem like a small glimmer of hope for fans hoping to see the two sisters-in-law reconcile, Melissa also acknowledged the difficulty in finding common ground after so much hurt. In fact, initially, she told Sherri that she couldn’t envision a way for their families to move forward, claiming that “the ship has sailed.” 
Throughout Season 14 of the show, the tension only grew, with the cast splintering into two groups due to Melissa and Teresa’s inability to communicate. As the series continues, their rivalry has become one of the driving forces behind the show’s drama, but could there be a light at the end of the tunnel?
While Melissa has left the door slightly open for potential healing, Teresa seems less hopeful about reconciliation. When asked about the possibility of repairing things with her brother Joe and Melissa in a recent interview, Teresa described the rift as “permanent.” She has made no secret of the deep betrayal she felt when her brother and Melissa joined the show without her knowledge in 2011, calling it “very hard” to process.
Reflecting on those painful years, Teresa said, “I never signed up to be on a TV show with my family… I [got] bombarded and ambushed by my family. And it was very sad because I felt like my dream kind of got shattered.” For Teresa, the experience has shaped her view of her family, making it challenging to envision a reunion with them.
