The 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star is opening up about the rumors involving her costars
Melissa Gorga isn't mincing words about the alleged behavior of her The Real Housewives of New Jersey costars Teresa Giudice and Jennifer Aydin.
“I just think there’s so much grossness out there with social media, and what it looks like my sister-in-law and Jen [have] done is pretty embarrassing for them and pretty gross,” Gorga told Page Six on Wednesday, May 8, at the Food Bank for New York City’s Gotham Ball.
The TV personality, 45, added that she is “just embarrassed for them at this point."
While Gorga didn’t share further details, she appeared to be referring to the scandal erupting on social media in which a former troll account, currently named MelissasOldNose, has claimed that Giudice and Aydin asked her and other accounts to dig up dirt and expose Gorga and their castmates like Rachel Fuda and Margaret Josephs. The account has even shared alleged screenshots of direct messages with Giudice and Aydin, showing that she was given screeners to episodes before they aired (and, allegedly, gifts and financial compensation).
Aydin, 47, has not addressed the claims but in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Giudice, 51, denied any involvement. "I don’t do that," she said. "Everyone who knows me, I am so real. Like, what you see is what you get and I don’t go digging up people’s pasts."
RHONJ Premiere: Teresa Giudice Repeats Rumors of John Fuda's Drug-Dealing Past — but He Laughs Off Claims
But during the season 14 premiere that aired Sunday, May 5, Giudice and Aydin shared social media rumors about Rachel Fuda's husband John Fuda during the episode that MelissasOldNose's has claimed she was involved with putting out.
The rumors, which stemmed from an interview John's ex-wife and biological mother of his son gave from a halfway house, claimed that John was a “drug dealer” and liked “kinky s---" involving sex toys. Giudice and Aydin brought them up on the way to a surprise birthday party for costar Jennifer Fessler, with Giudice later shouting to the crowded room that she heard John was “the biggest drug dealer in Bergen County.”
John, 32 laughed off the claims on the show, telling PEOPLE: “The damaging lies repeated about me are not rooted in reality."
The reality star, who was arrested in 2008 at age 21 for operating a motor vehicle while in possession of a narcotic (the charges were dropped), spoke more about it on his Instagram account.
"While I am not proud of every aspect of my history, I have worked tirelessly to overcome challenges and strive for a better future," he said in a statement. "I refuse to be defined by my past mistakes."
RHONJ Star Rachel Fuda Says Husband John’s 50-Lb. Weight Loss 'Definitely Improved' Their Sex Life
Season 14 of RHONJ follows the epic fallout last year between Giudice and Gorga at the season 13 reunion, where Giudice told her sister-in-law, "I can't wait to never f---ing look at your face again after today.”
To Giudice's dismay, Gorga still returned to the season. But their feud has split the women into two camps: Giuidce, Aydin and Jackie Goldschneider on one side and Gorga, Josephs, the Fudas on the other. The rest of the cast — Dolores Catania, Danielle Cabral and Jennifer Fessler — appear to be more in the middle.

In a conversation with PEOPLE ahead of the premiere, Gorga said that she's no longer interested in talking about her fallout Giudice.
"There's just no need. I don't need to comment on it," Gorga said. "I don't need to talk about it. ... It's something I just, I don't want to say don't care about, but I just don't anymore. Keep it moving and let's talk about something else."
