Lala Kent is feeling “grateful.”
On Tuesday, February 11, the Vanderpump Rules alum took a moment to acknowledge a special day for a very special someone. Lala celebrated the occasion with a throwback photo featuring her longtime friend Leo DeMarsh.
“Right now, my sweet Gusband is getting dapper as f*ck to celebrate his birthday,” Lala captioned the Story of her bestie posing on a Los Angeles hiking trail. “Leo, I hope today has been the best day ever. You are truly a bright light in my world. I am so grateful to have you in my life. You make me happy. Happiest birthday, [Leo] – may it be the best year yet.”

According to his LinkedIn page, Leo has spent many years working in the hospitality industry, taking on various lead roles at LA-area retailers, bars, and restaurants. In 2017, he landed a manager position at Lisa Vanderpump’s now-defunct lounge, Pump, presumably where he met Lala and her then-castmates.
As indicated on Instagram, Leo has become one of Lala’s longest and closest friends. He has shared posts celebrating Lala’s sobriety journey, her pregnancy with baby No. 1, and, of course, her birthdays. One of his sweetest messages was posted in 2019 after he and Lala went on a trip to Cabo San Lucas.
“To my fellow blonde bombshell [Lala],” he captioned the Instagram. “May your year ahead bring to you what you bring to us all – happiness, joy and Love. La, we are so lucky to have you as a friend – keep shining bright like a diamond my love! Happy Birthday!!! Love your other Gusband.”

Lala Kent opens up about her dating life
While it’s clear her friendships are going strong, Lala hasn’t revealed too many details about her romantic life. Shortly before giving birth to baby No. 2, the Utah native insisted she hadn’t given up on love and was eager to re-enter the dating scene.
“I think because I was so adam
ant Season 10, and then Season 11, we brought in the donor party, it seems like I’m off men,” she told Page Six in August 2024. “I really — I love and appreciate men, and I can’t wait to go out and date and like, find my person.
“I just think that I don’t see any correlation between having a baby and finding a partner,” she continued. “Like I think that those two things can happen separately… I fully intend on — I’ve said after I have baby S [Sosa], I’m just, I’m going to enjoy being a mama and like all of the things, because it goes by so quickly. But I’m not going to put dating on the back burner anymore. Like, I’m ready.”
