Instead Ariana, 40, will be stepping into Maya's shoes as the new host.
It's not the first time Ariana has hosted the show, having previously filled in for Maya for two episodes last series.
A new announcement read: "Peacock announce Love Island Games season 2 premieres September 16th, this time with Ariana Madix as host.
"It’ll see all-star islanders from the UK, USA & Australia return for another game of love."
Maya already has her hands full with Love Island UK and last year hosted Love Island All Stars.
However The Sun revealed in April that she has set up her own media firm, in the surest sign yet she’ll be leaving Love Island when her contract lapses after this summer’s series.
The ITV host, who also presents The Masked Singer, has lodged paperwork for a new company called MIJ Productions - just weeks before the new series kicked off.
Maya signs up to host Love Island on a rolling annual basis so will be making a decision for 2026 in the next few months.
But all signs suggest she’s considering a life after Love Island.
The new filings with Companies House place MIJ Productions within the media and advertising agencies category and names Maya’s close friend Issy Lloyd as her business partner on the new venture.

It comes after she launched a new plant milk, Sproud, and worked as a producer on a West End play called Shifters.
She told The Sun last summer that she would love to get behind the camera on Love Island one day.
Maya said: “I am a fan of the show and have grown up on reality TV so maybe one day, never say never.
“In my mind I am like what do you next after TV. I’ll work it out.
“I feel like I need to set new goals because I have been so fortunate that all my childhood goals have been achieved now before I am 30.
“Do I have an input [now]? No, because if I did I would get producer credits.
“If I could I would but that’s not my job title… yet.

While other international Love Island stars also joined them in Fiji for the competition, won by Justine Ndiba and Jack Fowler.
