The Las Vegas Raiders are trending toward having a top-five pick in the 2025 NFL draft after dropping to a 2-8 record. With a tough schedule ahead, the team is likely to lose most of their remaining games, which would help them secure that pick. The top position of need seems to be at quarterback, and star pass rusher Maxx Crosby is hopeful for the future.
Crosby went on the "Let's Go!" podcast to talk about how new minority owner and former NFL legend Tom Brady will help with making the correct selection at quarterback.
"If anybody knows things about quarterbacks and what intangibles to look for, I feel like Tom Brady is the right guy."
With quarterbacks like Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward being early favorites to become a Raider, it will be interesting to see which direction Brady decides to go in selecting their new guy. Sanders is more of an elusive and big play quarterback, while Ward has one of the best pocket-presences in college also with the big-play ability.
It's hard to argue with Crosby's praise for Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl Champion and one of the greatest players of all time in sports. He should serve as a big help for Las Vegas in the offseason.
