Maxx Crosby Blockbuster Trade Proposed By 49ers Star - suong

There seems to be some cynicism among San Francisco 49ers fans regarding the 2025 offseason because the Brock Purdy contract talks are the centerpiece ...

And are seen by some as creating limits on what else the 49ers might do.

But one 49ers standout doesn't see it that way and has gone to social media to make a push for his team to acquire a perennial Defensive Player of the Year candidate.

San Francisco cornerback Deommodore Lenoir has taken to social media to reveal his vision and his desire for the Niners to team to acquire Raiders defensive lineman Maxx Crosby.

"Max Crosby would look crazy in a Niners Jersey🔥'' he wrote.

The fan base, of course, loves the idea - on paper.

Crosby playing opposite Nick Bosa? That's best-in-the-NFL stuff.

Crosby has been linked to the 49ers before via the rumor mill. And now he's feeding some of the speculation about his Vegas future himself, as Crosby recently joined Good Morning Football to share his thoughts on what might be ahead.

“Yeah, I see all those things,'' he said of the gossip. "Right now, I am just focusing on my process and day-to-day getting healthy. We are going to see what happens with the coaching situation. I have been with the Raiders for six years, and I’m currently under contract. I talked about it before, I have no guaranteed money left.

"There are a lot of things that need to be discussed. We are going to do that.”

Some have speculated that Crosby could be had for a first-round pick; we have no idea if that is true.

It can also be guessed at that Crosby, under contract through 2026 with $42.8 million left on his deal, would like to discuss a new financial arrangement with any new team.

There are a lot of balls to juggle here. But the 49ers locker room wanting to trade for Maxx Crosby? That's an easy call.
