The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is back with a bang for its fifth season. Fans are excited that Mary Cosby is once again a full-time Housewife, and that she seems to be “clocked in” and actually involved with the cast this go around. However, what fans don’t love is that she keeps sharing heavily FaceTuned photos of herself. She made news for this before the season started, and now she’s doing it again.
Earlier this month, Mary took to social media to share an edited image of one of her confessionals from the new season of RHOSLC. However, people noticed that she had altered the photo. This led to many joking about the heavy editing while also discussing the fact that many other reality TV stars do the same. The difference is that she did it with her confessional look despite knowing fans would be able to see the original.
Page Six first reported on this second edited image Mary shared from the new season of RHOSLC. According to the outlet, she posted the photo on Monday, September 23, less than a week after the new season started. In the post, which you can see below, Mary used several hashtags. One of the hashtags highlighted that she was wearing Alexander McQueen, which is important because, as she pointed out in episode one of this season, Mary is a fashion girl who doesn’t wear “costumes.”
Naturally, the fans had much to say about the heavily edited picture in Mary’s original Instagram post. One person commented, ” I’ve never seen this person before.”
Another RHOSLC fan said, “Mary, who is this?”
Someone else called out the FaceTune directly by asking, “Mary, why are you using FaceTune? Come on now, girl.”
However, Heather Gay was on her side and commented, “Beautiful.”
Instead of commenting on the edited photo, another person said, “I am so happy you’re back !! I laughed so much I watched the episode twice !!👍🏾👍🏾”
