Married To Medicine' Star Dr. Simone Whitmore Schools Andy Cohen on Speculum Use in Eye-Opening 'WWHL' Segment - lulu

Andy Cohen might have the 411 — but on Sunday night’s (Dec. 1) episode of Watch What Happens Live, he got the gynecology 101 from Married to Medicine star (and board-certified OB/GYN) Dr. Simone Whitmore.

The unusual moment took place during Cohen’s final taping of WWHL from Bravo Fan Fest in Miami, which was titled “Doctors and Wives” and featured stars from both Married to Medicine and The Real Housewives of Potomac.

At one point, Cohen introduced a game called “Is It Bigger Than Mia’s Foot?” where he would hold various objects up to RHOP star Mia Thornton‘s foot to see if they were bigger or smaller.

“We have played a lot of stupid games on this show. This is gonna be up there,” Cohen joked after holding a bobblehead and a mini umbrella up to Thornton’s foot. “But I am having the best time!”

The strangest object, however, was a speculum, which is used to help gynecologists look inside the vagina and see the cervix.

“Is a speculum bigger than Mia’s foot?” Cohen asked, while Whitmore chimed in, “They’re about the same!”

The Real Housewives executive producer then asked Whitmore, who completed her OB/GYN residency at Boston University and Boston Medical Center, how one would use a speculum.

“Let me show you, Andy,” she confidently said as she held up the gadget.

“This goes into the vagina,” Whitmore explained, before slowly winding the speculum open. “And then she feels pressure.”

Cohen added, “OK, you learn something new every day.”

Meanwhile, Thornton playfully told the talk show host, “Andy, you cannot check my cervix. That’s where I draw the line,” to which he assured her, “I’m not touching your cervix.”

Oh, and in case you were wondering, the speculum was much smaller than Thornton’s foot.

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
