Married At First Sight's Ryan Donnelly crashes interview with Clint Rice to expose him for secret texts he sent to Jacqui Burfoot while she was still 'married' to her groom on the show - suong

Married At First Sight stars Ryan Donnelly and Clint Rice clashed on Thursday when the 'warrior' groom crashed his love rival's media interview.

Clint, 43, was paired with bride Lauren Hall on the Nine series, but quickly got into a relationship with Jacqui Burfoot, who was 'married' to Ryan, 36, after they each left the experiment and their respective partners.

However, Ryan claimed on Thursday, during Clint's interview with Abbie Chatfield on her MAFS Goss podcast special, that the former pro golfer started secretly texting his wife long before they split and left the show.

Clint appeared on Abbie's podcast to share behind-the-scenes information about his time filming the matchmaking series and shed some light on rumours which emerged about himself and other couples.

But just over half way through the interview, producer Oscar Gordon revealed he had a 'fan video' which was sent in and addressed to Clint.

As he hit play, a clip of Ryan appeared as he said: 'Hey, Clint. It's your favourite warrior here. Real quick question for you.'

He continued: 'You know how last year when you and Jacqui were texting while we were still married? At what point do you think to yourself, "I can be somebody great for her."'

Stunned by the surprise video, Abbie confronted Clint about the accusation he was texting Jacqui, 29, while she was still filming MAFS and married to Ryan

'There were a few cast members texting. It wasn't anything explicit or untoward,' he admitted.

Clint went on to try and steer the conversation away from the topic by taking a dig at Ryan calling himself a 'warrior' in the video, but Abbie wouldn't let the revelation go.

'Hold on, don't deflect, Clint. What was happening there?' she said.

He replied: 'There was nothing until after [the show]. I was texting Dave, too. There was nothing there between myself and Dave. There never was.'

'But there is stuff between you and Jacqui now,' Abbie pointed out. 'At what point were you two texting? When you were with Lauren still?'

'No definitely not. After I left the experiment, I did message... the cast and said, "Hey it was awesome to get to meet you. Maybe somewhere down the track we can hang out at some point,"' Clint clarified.

However, Clint went on to confess he was attracted to Jacqui when he first met her at his cocktail party debut with his wife Lauren.

It comes after Clint took a brutal dig at co-star Ryan shortly after confirming his relationship with the groom's ex Jacqui.

The pro golfer, who left the controversial social experiment last week after being paired with Lauren, took to social media on Wednesday night with a shock video.

In the footage, Clint was seen strolling across his sprawling Tasmanian estate and past his private tennis court.

He then looked proudly at his $200,000 Porsche Macan and captioned the clip with a pointed jab: 'POV: He wanted to be great.'

Clint's cryptic post alluded to a fiery dinner party showdown between Ryan and Jacqui which aired the same night.

The explosive argument saw Jacqui question why Ryan wasn’t willing to improve himself.

'Why don't I want to be someone great? You see how that's insulting, right?' Ryan snapped back at her.

During the episode, Jacqui repeatedly criticised Ryan's home in the Sydney suburb of Campbelltown, labelling the whole suburb as 'boganic'

Clint has officially moved on from his on-screen wife Lauren and is now dating Jacqui—who had one of the rockiest relationships on the show with Ryan.

Jacqui herself was quick to gush over her new man in the comment section.

'Guys, he is so great! He is full of integrity, perseverance, hard work, EQ, IQ and is so loving and kind. Best of all he lets the dog walk on a loose leash!' she wrote, throwing shade at Ryan’s strict dog-training rules.

Jacqui's criticisms of Ryan's Sydney home are despite the fact he fully owns his property, while she filmed her Homestays in an Airbnb rental because she still lived with messy roommates.

She has since moved on and now lives with co-star Clint in his sprawling Tasmanian mansion.
