Ryan slammed his wife's appearance with the same comment she was upset by just days earlier

During Intimacy Week, Jacqui organised a fantasy date night where she dressed in lingerie and wanted to be lavished in affection and compliments by her husband.

Ryan wasn't a fan of the date night Jacqui had planned, and made his views clear when the grooms gathered for their Intimacy Week meeting with clinical sexologist Alessandra Rampolla.

After criticising Jacqui’s fantasy date she had organised the night before, Ryan went on to claim she has "crazy eyes".

His co-stars were completely taken aback by the comment Ryan made about his bride due to how the exact same comment previously upset her just days before.

Billy instantly said: "What!?" while the other grooms all looked at Ryan in disbelief as she said: "Try living with it."

"Saying crazy eyes like that," Dave then said in a confessional away from the group.

"That's a comment Jake said to make her look bad," he added.

"To bring that up in a group setting ... that's not right. You don't say these things to put women down," Dave went on.

The lads even then went home to their wives and told them what Ryan had said.

Dave was especially angry with the comments and couldn't wait to tell wife Jamie about what Ryan had said.

Jamie then told her pal Carina about the comments Ryan had made, with her later telling the camera in a confessional that she would let her husband do his thing at the pending Dinner Party.

The Dinner Party will air tomorrow night, with it set to be explosive as the brides and grooms reveal to Jacqui what Ryan said behind her back.

Viewers loved how the grooms condemned Ryan's comments about Jacqui, with many quick to share their thoughts on social media.

"I like that the lads are grassing on Ryan," penned one fan on Reddit as they watched the show in real time on E4.

A second person echoed: "The lads are doing good, grassing Ryan up and condemning the fact he used a line that hurt his wife previously. Whether she has crazy eyes or not, he's meant to be her support."

While a third said: "I'm so pleased to see that the guys aren't going along with what Ryan is saying or laughing at his remarks, and that some are commenting on how inappropriate it is."

"I tell you what gang. We’re very lucky the other couples will bring Ryan’s stupid and insensitive comments up and the dinner party rather than just mind their own business eh," penned a fourth.

And a fifth person said they were "impressed by the boys and how they are disgusted by what Ryan said and not just laughing it off as banter".

Ryan's comments came after Jake Luik said that Jacqui had "crazy eyes" during the photo ranking challenge.

During the photo ranking challenge at the start of the week, Jake - who has since left the experiment - critiqued each of the brides as he ranked their appearances.

He said that Sierah looked like she could “stab you in your sleep” before making comments about New Zealand-born Awhina Rutene’s ethnicity.
