Dorit Kemsley and Paul “PK” Kemsley are going through a messy divorce, and they’re at serious risk of losing their $8 million home due to tax debts, per reports. A source exclusively tells Life & Style how the growing cash panic is taking a major toll on both of them behind the scenes.
“They’ve been very secretive about it, but clearly money issues have been plaguing them for some time. And now they are going to war with each other over money,” the insider explains. “Dorit is requesting financial support, despite being a full-time Bravo star, and he’s hit back and is trying to get a piece of her TV earnings.
“They are both insisting they’re the ones in the right, and digging in their heels. Now, their lawyers will have to fight it out, and no doubt their bills will be astronomical, which is only going to lead to more money stress,” the source continues. “But Dorit and PK don’t seem to care, all they care about is winning.”
That said, the insider reveals that “things have gotten really nasty between them.”
“PK is dating a woman who attended their wedding, which is not going over well with Dorit,” the insider admits. “And now Dorit is talking about getting back at him for it. It’s all so toxic.”
In May, the U. S. Sun reported that the estranged couple purchased the home through the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s LLC. However, the pair agreed in writing to pay the full amount back.
Beyond their financial burden, Dorit, 48, and PK’s separation continued to get uglier, especially after the family patriarch was spotted on a date with a then-mystery woman in April, later identified as The Amazing Race alum Shana Wall.
In the photos, PK, 57, and Shana, 50, strolled the streets of Los Angeles after a dinner date. They held hands as they walked, pausing for a few sweet embraces and kisses.
Dorit filed for divorce hours after the photos were published, officially ending their 10-year marriage.
The following month, Page Six reported that Shana attended PK and Dorit’s wedding on March 7, 2015, as Ryan Seacrest’s plus one.
“Through a strange series of coincidences, they worked out that Shana was actually at PK’s wedding,” a source told the outlet at the time, noting Shana was “very close” to the Wheel of Fortune host at the time.
In Touch broke the news that there was trouble in paradise with Dorit and PK in October 2023, which they later denied.
“We remain committed to working through these issues as a united couple for our family. We have not separated nor are we planning to do so. Rather, we are focused on healing, making changes and doing the things that many couples have to do at some point in their marriage,” Dorit and Paul wrote in a statement at the time. “We would be grateful for everyone’s understanding. We are doing what we can to focus on the best interests of our family, as opposed to spending our time contending with rumors and hearsay that are not true. Love, Dorit and PK.”
However, Dorit admitted to her marriage woes and separation from PK during the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 debut in November 2024.
