Mark Wright says 'don’t talk to me' in parenting admission after baby with Michelle Keegan - suong

Mark Wright shared an honest admission about life as a parent by revealing the one thing nobody warned him about.

He became a dad for the first time earlier this month after welcoming a baby girl, Palma, with wife Michelle Keegan. And he gave an update about how things were going when talking with Heart FM co-host Olly Murs this morning.

Former X Factor star Olly kickstarted the conversation after reading a message out from a listener called Lisa who said she was sorting clothes in her room and it was “very tiring”.

Mark, currently experiencing in the newborn phase, said: “Lisa, I’m going to go back to what you just said there, it’s very tiring sorting your clothes in your room – don’t talk to me about tired right now.”

Olly began laughing before former TOWIE star Mark continued: “Because Palma, my little baby, is making me extremely tired. I turned up this morning and Olly went ‘you look shattered’.”

The Dance With Me performer acknowledged: “You know what, it’s your eyes, it is the first time I’ve seen these little bags in all the years I’ve known you, just here, and it is a dad thing, it is a parent thing, all of a sudden you get these little bags under your eyes.”

Mark replied: “Yeah, they say dad bod don’t they, they never warn you about dad eyes!”

Despite the jokes, Olly asked Mark whether he was still enjoying fatherhood, and he said: “It is the best thing ever. It is the best thing ever. Except when I am trying to wind her after a bottle at 2am, nightmare.”

Olly and his wife, Amelia, also welcomed a daughter, Madison, last year, and he previously admitted he “never got a chance to get to know this little baby” after having to leave to go on tour with Take That just two days after she was born.

Mark and Michelle, 38 and 37, meanwhile married in 2015 and they decided to wait to start a family so he could focus on his presenting career while she could achieve her acting ambitions.

Speaking on his radio show earlier this month, he said: “Yeah, it’s a very special feeling and I can’t put it into words really.

"We’ve waited a little bit of time, we’ve chased our dreams and chased our careers, and now we’re here we’ve got a little baby!

"I’m in the studio, I miss her badly now, but in a couple of hours I’ll be home to her."
