Mark Wright, has praised his "superhero" wife, Michelle Keegan, for delivering their precious daughter, Palma, into the world.
The proud parents welcomed the tot last week and were flooded with well wishes from their famous friends as they settle into their new life as a family of three.
Opening up about becoming a father for the first time, Mark, 38, paid tribute to Michelle, 37, who he has been married to for 10 years. Praising the Netflix star for being a "superhero", he told Olly Murs on their Heart FM show: "It's the biggest achievement of my life its all I think about but obviously hats go off to my wife she is an absolute super human, a superhero for bringing this baby into the world."
Sharing his appreciation for all mums, he added: "It makes you realise what our mums did for us and makes me have so much more respect than I already had and what women had to go through."
Michelle announced Palma Elizabeth Wright's arrival on March 6 with a touching black and white photo on Instagram, which shows a peak of the baby's crocheted bonnet. As the baby girl’s tiny hand is lovingly held by her parents, Michelle and Mark wrote: "Together we have a new love to share - our little girl."
Telling Olly, who welcomed his own daughter, Maddison, with wife, Amelia, last year that being a dad was 'the best feeling ever', Mark gushed: "It's the best feeling in the world. I wake up every morning just so excited to see her face."
Recalling the first moment he held Palma, he continued: "That moment when I held her in my arms, it gets me emotional now thinking about it. I suppose everything else goes out the window and its made me realise what life is all about and my little baby Palma I love you so much and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.
"It's a very special feeling. I cant really put it into words. We've waited a little bit of time, we've chased our dreams and our careers and now we're here. We've got a baby.'"
Returning to work just days after her birth he revealed he would be facetiming his family in the song breaks, adding: 'I am in the studio now I miss her badly now but in a couple hours I will be home to her."
Michelle recently posted a photo of the couple's palatial home, which is filled with 'Baby Girl' balloons. One regular visitor to the mansion in Essex will be the actress', mum, Jackie, who is now a proud grandmother.
